| Information support of search and rescue activities in the Arctic region requires advance collecting and storing up-to-date information on search and rescue operations, search objects, search and rescue units, events and conditions. The paper investigates information structures constituting the scheme of information warehouse for search and rescue activity support. The structures are defined on the basis of data standards and formats used in the Arctic region as well as data contained in specialized information systems. The schema is considered as target for emerging data integration methods transforming data from various sources into the information conforming the warehouse schema. The information structures are presented using UML notation. Issues of the warehouse schema implementation with relational data model are described. |
