| The paper is devoted to the problem of organization
of the research process in the data-intensive sciences
(DIS). It is focused on the problem of the workflow
reuse. The paper presents an approach of embedding the
subject mediators into the environment for collaborative
research in DIS. This approach provides independence
of problem solving methods and algorithms of the
source data and services. It is shown that the
independence of workflow from particular data
collections and services constitutes a necessary
requirement for the workflows re-use. |
