| The paper presents an investigation of subject domain conceptual schema modeling methods for problem solving using a semantic-based approach to subject domain specifications development. The development process includes analysis of requirements to the subject domain starting from verbal specifications of the problem, development of subject domain ontology and transformation of the ontology to a conceptual schema. Issues of conceptual schema implementation in a subject mediator environment are discussed. |
